Women of Local First Arizona Reach Academic Achievements

As graduation season comes to a close, we'd be remiss if we didn't give a salute to our very own. Not just one but four of the astoundingly accomplished women on the Local First Arizona team tossed their caps in celebration as graduates of the 2017 class.

ANNA DONG

Anna Dong Graduate

Bachelor of Arts in Design Management | Certificate in Sales & Marketing Essentials
Arizona State University

Anna was a Dorrance Scholar and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Originally from Pennsylvania, Anna moved to Arizona in 2007 and is passionate about design and travel. She is Local First Arizona's Brand & Marketing Manager.


LORE CONTRERAS

Lore Contreras Grad

Associates of Visual Arts | 2D Studio Art Concentration
Pima Community College

From Guadalajara, Lore is a photographer who is passionate about art and community. She loves exploring Tucson's new local businesses and is Local First Arizona's Tucson Membership Coordinator.


MAYA AZZI

Maya Azzi Graduate

Master of Science in Community Resources & Development | Sustainable Tourism Development
Arizona State University

Maya graduated Magna Cum Laude. An east coast native, she was raised in the mountains of central Virginia and is passionate about sustainable tourism. Maya is the Local First Arizona Foundation's Rural Program Coordinator.


TANAIRI OCHOA-MARTINEZ

Tanairi Ochoa-Martinez Graduate

Master of Public Administration
Arizona State University

Tanairi graduated with highest honors, Summa Cum Laude. She is an immigrant from Sinaloa, a new mother and serves on the School Board of the Alhambra District. She is Local First Arizona's Small Business Coordinator.
